Backordering Reaper & Dark Sword Miniatures
Seen a miniature you love that’s listed on backorder? Order it through Miniature Heroes and Tim will work on getting it in for you.
How backordering works
Order in the usual way
Add your chosen backorder miniature to your basket and check out as normal.
Tim places the supplier order
Orders are grouped together until the supplier’s minimum order amount is reached.
Your miniatures come to the UK
Once the supplier order is placed, allow around 3–4 weeks for the US shipment and UK customs. Peak periods can take longer.

So you’ve seen a mini you like, but the listing says it’s on backorder. Just order it in the normal way and I will get it in for you. Reaper no longer have a base in the UK, so you will pay more to order it directly from their EU warehouse, or from their US headquarters. But if you order it through Miniature Heroes, what you pay at the checkout is all you will pay. The same is true of Dark Sword.
Please plan ahead
The downside is you will have to wait. I need to get a minimum order amount before I place an order. It can also take 3–4 weeks to get an order in from the US and through UK customs. During peak times, such as Christmas, this can take even longer. Make sure you place your orders well before you need them.
The plus is you don’t have to deal with importing or pay additional customs duty or import VAT yourself. And if I can’t get what you want, you get your money back.
